The new Wellington Phoenix women's recruit can't wait to get out on the park for her new A-League side

The new Wellington Phoenix women's recruit can't wait to get out on the park for her new A-League side

Tomorrow's away game against the Western Sydney Wanderers may have come too soon for Emma Pijnenburg , who's back from a three-year stint in the Dutch Vrouwen Eredivisie.

She's replaced fellow Football Ferns midfielder Alyssa Whinham , who's out for the season with injury.

Pijnenburg says she's hoping to impress Nix coach Bev Priestman.
