Another manager bites the dust in football's Premier League

Another manager bites the dust in football's Premier League

Ruben Amorim has been dismissed at Manchester United after 14 months in charge.

The BBC reports a hostile meeting was held with the club's football director Jason Wilcox last week, where Amorim's tactics and formations were questioned.

Amorim won 25 of his 63 games at the helm - it's the shortest tenure by a Manchester United manager since David Moyes was dismissed eight months into his contract in 2014.

Darren Fletcher will manage the side for their next match against Burnley on Thursday.
