Motorists are urged to keep an eye out for cyclists on our roads this summer

ACC helped people to recover from more than 31-thousand cycling-related injuries in 2024, at a cost of 115 million dollars - a five year high.
Knees, shoulders and arms are most commonly injured in road cycling.
Injury Prevention Lead James Whitaker says road users need to look for others at intersections - not just for a gap.
He says motorists often don't see cyclists and when they do, it's already too late.
