An eight-wicket win for the Auckland Hearts cricketers in the women's Super Smash T20 elimination final in Christchurch

An eight-wicket win for the Auckland Hearts cricketers in the women's Super Smash T20 elimination final in Christchurch

Chasing the Northern Brave's 138 all out, the Hearts cruised to the total, finishing on 139 for two in the final over.

That's booked Auckland a spot in tomorrow's decider, also at Hagley Oval, against the Wellington Blaze.

Super Rugby Pacific's pre-season has kicked off, with three New Zealand teams victorious around the country.

The champions, the Crusaders, have beaten the Highlanders 33-10 at Timaru's Fraser Park.

The Chiefs saw off the Fijian Drua 47-31 at Blake Park in Mount Maunganui.

And the Hurricanes beat the Blues 44-36 at Sacred Heart College in Auckland.
