The Highlanders are keeping their fingers crossed for Fabian Holland as they prepare to find out more about the All Blacks lock's injury

Holland suffered what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury in the southerners' Super Rugby Pacific warm-up game against Moana Pasifika on Waitangi Day.

Forwards coach Clarke Dermody says he's due to get checked out tomorrow - and it's unclear whether it's a short-term injury or a bit longer...ahead of their opener against the Crusaders Friday night.
