The Government has committed 27-million dollars towards investing into the global Covid 19 vaccine development alliance

Foreign Minister Winston Peters says the global COVAX facility is a key part of New Zealand's strategy for getting a safe and effective vaccine.
He says it will let New Zealand invest in a high-quality, diversified portfolio of vaccine candidates.
Peters says it will ensure we are spreading risk and keeping our options open.
