    The gateway to the adventure capital of New Zealand -- is adjusting to pandemic life


    Queenstown Airport's passenger numbers for December -- are half those from 12 months earlier.

    Chief executive Colin Keel says he's confident the airport will ride out the storm -- but it hasn't been without loss.

    He says the company's made the tough decision to cut jobs and save money where it could -- and he believes it's a secure position to endure the difficult trading conditions.
