Health New Zealand's CEO will be reviewing the policy on non-disclosure agreements

Health New Zealand's CEO will be reviewing the policy on non-disclosure agreements

Labour has complained to the Public Service Commissioner - over almost 70 health staff being made to sign gag orders.

Party spokesperson Ayesha Verrall says it's included stopping officials publicly discussing their ideas.

Health NZ chief executive Margie Apa says NDAs are normal in parts of business involving commercial issues.

But she says she will take another look, because they want to encourage free and frank exchange of ideas.

She says that needs to be done in an environment where leadership can debate - without fear it will be shared.
