The Campaign for Wool group is crunching the numbers to see if it can make enough carpets

The Campaign for Wool group is crunching the numbers to see if it can make enough carpets

The Finance Minister has confirmed new state houses, schools and Government buildings will be carpeted in wool, after next month.

General manager Kara Biggs says farmers are speaking with all Government departments on what the changes look like.

She says the wool industry is pulling together in anticipation.

She says they are working with Wool Impact to find out what volume will be needed.
