Changes are in the pipeline for reducing drug harm as a confronting paper calls for overhaul

Changes are in the pipeline for reducing drug harm as a confronting paper calls for overhaul

The Drug Foundation's latest report suggest decriminalising drug use and funnelling more resources into support services.
The Government says it'll release a harm reduction action plan for consultation this month.

Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey says they won't be decriminalising drugs - but he agrees with other aspects of the report.

He supports the call for more funding for addiction and health services.
