The Government's announced a new legal protection, known as safe harbour, which will allow banks, telecommunications providers and digital platforms to quickly block scams without worrying about prosecution.
Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister Scott Simpson has also confirmed they're exploring a flagger system for law enforcement to share suspected scam information.
