    An ousted Te Pati Maori MP and her former party have spent the day in Court


    The High Court's heard from lawyers representing Mariameno Kapa-Kingi - who alleges the party didn't adhere to its constitution when expelling her.

    Kapa-Kingi was expelled last year after allegations she overspent her budget.

    Political reporter Ethan Griffiths says her lawyer today alleged the party's co-leaders were also predicted to go over budget.

    He says her lawyer called that deeply ironic.
