The Act Party says the Government needs to appoint new talent rather than recycle existing ministers

The Act Party says the Government needs to appoint new talent rather than recycle existing ministers

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's announced a cabinet reshuffle today, prompted by the departure of Justice and Immigration Minister Kris Faafoi, and Speak Trevor Mallard.

Poto Williams police portfolio is moving to Chris Hipkins.

But Act Leader David Seymour says he'd like to have seen new faces rather than a reshuffle.

Mr seymour says New Zealand has urgent problems that need a fresh injection of talent, and it sounds like Jacinda Ardern's not confident they have it.
