New Zealanders are taking their values into account when they invest

A survey from the Responsible Investment Association Australasia has found 77 percent of respondents expect ethical management of their assets.
Mindful Money CEO Barry Coates says that includes companies respecting human rights and animal welfare.
He says a growing number of people don't think they need to hurt their conscience to increase their bank balance.
Coates says more people think that ethical investments have higher returns long term.
