Calls for a review of the contact tracing system

Calls for a review of the contact tracing system

Just 0.2 percent of New Zealanders are using the Government's covid-19 tracing app.

Ministry of Health figures show daily poster scans in the last 10 days have dropped to 10-thousand - down from 500-thousand during level two.

Professor of Public Health at Otago University Michael Baker says we need to go back and look at other options.

He says a review of the whole strategy is needed - because it clearly isn't working and has a very low level of public engagement.
