Concerns from hospitality businesses about criteria for the latest wage subsidy

Businesses must show a 40 per cent drop in revenue over two weeks - compared to a typical fortnight in the six weeks before levels changed on February 14.

But Restaurant Association CEO Marisa Bidois says the comparative period was already hit by Covid-19.

He says for many CBD businesses - January is already a quiet time, so to show a 40 per cent loss comparatively, is making some people pull their hair out.
