Pregnant women are being urged to get vaccinated

Five have been hospitalised so far in this Covid-19 outbreak.

It prompted Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield to reiterate the point that it's safe for pregnant women to have the Pfizer-vaccine.

College of Midwives Chief Executive Allison Eddy says they shouldn't shy away from rolling up their sleeves for the jab.

She says it'll protect both them and their baby from Covid-19.
