Covid-19 cases are still popping up outside Auckland ... prompting calls to get tested

Covid-19 cases are still popping up outside Auckland ... prompting calls to get tested

There are 60 new community cases today ... 56 in Auckland and four in Waikato.

Of those, 22 are still unlinked.

Two Waikato cases are in Te Awamutu, and two are contacts of known cases and are already isolating.

Four and half thousand tests were taken in Waikato yesterday.

Director General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says anyone in the region with symptoms should get a test, particularly people in Te Awamutu.

He says anyone who has been contact with a case should get tested regardless of symptoms.
