A snapshot review of the nation's health shows while most of us are in good health... psychological distress is increasing

The latest results from the New Zealand Health survey have been released.
They shows obesity has increased in both children and adults.
One in five adults have a hazardous drinking pattern, which is about the same as last year... but smoking rates have decreased.
About one in seven children live in households where food runs out sometimes or often, which is down from the 2019/20 figure.
