There are two new Covid-19 cases in the Wairoa District, in Hawke's Bay

Hawke's Bay DHB Health Officer Nicholas Jones says the new cases are close household contacts of a previously reported case outside the region.

He says as they're already isolating there's very little community risk.

There's currently no locations of interest.

Wairoa District is in the red traffic light setting, while the rest of Hawke's Bay is at orange.
