    24-hour mental health workers say demand for their services has remained consistent this year - as 2024 draws to an end


    Telehealth Services says the volume of calls it receives tends to decrease during the holiday season.

    However, it says increasing unemployment and growing financial unrest mean overall wellness is still poor.

    Clinical Lead David Codyre says the number of people struggling has increased and plateaued since the pandemic.

    He says he's noticing a pattern of young people reaching out the most because of the complex challenges they face.
