    Fruit fly controls have lifted in Auckland's Papatoetoe, after a month of intensive pest trapping


    Biosecurity New Zealand quickly placed local controls on movement of fruit and vegetables - after a single male Oriental fruit fly was identified.

    North Commissioner Mike Inglis says there's no further evidence of the fly in the area.
