    Waste water data shows consumption of the drug more than doubled in the second half of last year to the highest levels ever.

    A new peak of 39 kilos a week was recorded in October - nearly double the previous record of 20 kilos in 2021.

    Drug Foundation CEO Sarah Helm says New Zealand's become a target for global syndicates.

    She says we're a tiny nation with limited control, so what arrives here is generally consumed.
