Enrolments open in July for the latest institute offering nursing qualifications

Enrolments open in July for the latest institute offering nursing qualifications

Auckland's Healthcare Academy, part of U-P Education, has received approval for its new Diploma of Enrolled Nursing qualification.

The 18 month programme will produce enrolled nurses who can operate under the supervision of registered nurses.

Academy Chief Executive Ana Maria Rivera says it will channel a new stream of nurses into healthcare.

She says it's like a fast-track for producing locally-trained nurses.
