Thousands of senior doctors and dentists are joining this month's massive public service strike

Salaried Medical Specialists Association members have voted to down tools for four-hours on October 23, from 11am.

It will involve 4000 doctors and dentists.

More than 36-thousand Health NZ nurses - and 40-thousand teachers - already plan to walk off the job that day.
