Testing will roll out in Wellington from December - to clamp down on drug drivers.
Australian drug detection provider Pathtech will provide the oral fluid testing equipment, as well as Collection Kits, to collect saliva samples for lab analysis.
Police say the new equipment was tested by officers and they're hoping to have it operating nationwide by mid-2026.
