Carterton's boil water notice is still in place, but the cause could be becoming clearer

The District Council is confident it's closer to pinpointing the source of low-level readings of E. coli bacteria in its pipes.

It stresses the boil water notice is still in place - and businesses and urban residents must continue to boil water before consumption.
