Henderson and Papakura residents are being urged to get tested for Covid-19

They've replaced Otara on the suburbs of interest list - joining Mangere, Manurewa, Favona, Mt Wellington - Sylvia Park and Clover Park.

There were 19 new cases in Auckland yesterday, with a warning from Ashley Bloomfield to expect another 30 in the coming days.

Waitakere ward councillor Shane Henderson is encouraging residents in the Henderson area

to go and get a test - even if they don't have symptoms.

He says people with the virus can be asymptomatic.
