Some people in Niue have been given expired Pfizer covid vaccine doses

Director General of Social Services Gaylene Tasmania says 48 teenagers and three adults have all been notified after receiving the doses.

Niue's Government says the New Zealand Immunisation Advisory Centre is advising the vaccine was still probably viable, and the teens don't need to be re-vaccinated.

Officials are work closely with the New Zealand Ministry of Health on incident management and clinical advice.
