A New Zealand Dentist Association survey reveals dentistry fees have jumped over the past four years

The median cost of examinations has gone up 10 dollars, with some surgery costs rising by more than 100 dollars.

Auckland dentist Dr Tony Day says inflation has made the rise inevitable.

He says dentists are always trying to look out for their patients and rising costs have been disappointing.
