An immunisation clinic has been set up in Northland's Kawakawa, after four cases of measles were reported there

Three are historical and no longer infectious, One of the historical cases had previously travelled overseas to Asia, where measles is circulating.

The clinic is at the Bay of Islands Hospital.

Health NZ National Prevention Director Nikki Canter-Burgoyne says it's a really good opportunity for concerned families.

She says people can come in and ask any questions.
