More than 127-thousand users' health records were compromised in the attack - which the patient portal became aware of on Tuesday last week.
Health New Zealand says a large number of those impacted are based in Northland.
It's now allocating funding for GPs to consult with those needing to discuss their clinical information.
Mental wellbeing support is also available through the 1737 helpline, local primary health providers, and specialist youth and Hauora Maori services.
