    Police are following strong lines of enquiry to locate those involved in this morning's firearms incident in Ruatoria, near Gisborne


    Police responded to calls just after 9, following reports of shots being fired after a vehicle collision on McClutchie Road.

    They're reassuring members of the public that this was an isolated incident involving parties known to each other.

    No injuries have been reported.
