    A man's been arrested in relation to the theft of a car with a baby inside from a Whangarei Service Station


    The vehicle was taken from the station's forecourt on May 6 -- with a five-week-old girl in the back seat.

    An off duty Police staffer spotted the 52-year-old suspect in Auckland in the weekend - and he was later arrested. .

    He's been charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle and failing to stop.

    He will appear in the Auckland District Court today.
