    A 27-year-old's been arrested in relation to an Auckland hit and run that resulted in the death of a 79-year-old grandfather


    Jalil Mousses , who has 12 grandchildren, died after he was struck by a vehicle as he crossed Russell Road, in Manurewa, on the evening of June 26.

    Police says the arrested man has been charged with Failing to Stop to Ascertain Injury, and Driving while Disqualified.

    Further charges aren't being ruled out.

    The man is due to appear in the Manukau District Court next Tuesday.
