    Calls for New Zealanders to be proactive and read up before making their decision on the cannabis referendum


    Covid-19 and political scandals have taken centre stage, pushing the referendums to the side.

    Massey University associate professor Chris Wilkins says there is accessible information that people can get their hands on, and plenty of public meetings.

    But he says it can be hard accessing information that is balanced.

    He says it's an emotional issue, and people both pro and against would benefit from more objective information.
