    A Whanganui dog squad and search helicopter are attending reports of gunshots at Castlecliff


    Police have blocked off Rangiora and Manuka streets and are in the Seafront Rd area.

    A spokesperson says they received two calls from the public, one about gunshots - and the other telling police two males had been seen carrying firearms.

    A policeman at the scene says they could hear the shots when they arrived.
