    A Christchurch man allegedly murdered by his partner just after Christmas -- will be farewelled today


    Martin Berry's remains were found at his home in the northern suburb of Papanui last week.

    A memorial service for the 55-year-old will be held in Whanganui today.

    Berry's partner, Rena Maloney -- also known as Rena Joyce -- has been charged with murder.

    She'll appear in the High Court in Christchurch next month.
