Enquiries are continuing into a serious firearms incident at the Sofitel Hotel on the Viaduct, yesterday morning.
Police say it's related to issues between Head Hunters and Mongols gang members - and is linked to shots fired at the Head Hunters gang pad on Marua Road, in Mt Wellington, last weekend.
Mayor Phil Goff believes Police would have public backing to take extraordinary measures to crackdown on such behaviour.
