The Christchurch mosque shooter has withdrawn his latest legal challenge

The Christchurch mosque shooter has withdrawn his latest legal challenge

The mass murderer is serving life imprisonment without parole and was also convicted under terrorism laws.

The gunman had sought a judicial review over his prison conditions and his designation as a terrorist entity.

A minute released by the High Court says the application's now been withdrawn and the proceedings have ended.

The terrorist is being held with two others in a facility known as the Prisoners of Extreme Risk Unit.

His life in jail without parole is the first time in New Zealand's history such a term has been imposed.
