    Former Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs has pleaded not guilty to assault charges and coercive behaviour towards a former girlfriend


    Giggs, who is on leave as Wales' coach, appeared in court accused of kicking the woman and throwing her out of a hotel room while naked.

    He also pleaded not guilty to assaulting the woman's sister.
