The death of a man found in a car in Raglan on Wednesday night is now being treated as a homicide

42-year-old Auckland man Jade Pui, was staying in the coastal Waikato town, and found dead by locals.

Detective Inspector Graham Pitkethley is appealing for information on Mr Pui's last movements on Wainui Road between Raglan and Manui Bay boat ramp from five-pm onwards on Tuesday.

He says they're also seeking sightings of a white Mitsubishi Legnum or any other suspicious vehicles or motorbikes seen in the area over that time.
