    Former rugby league star Jarryd Hayne's convictions for rape have been quashed


    The two-time winner of the NRL's Dally-M medal has successfully appealed the convictions for sexually assaulting a women at her Newcastle home.

    The decision's been made today in the New South Wales Supreme Court - where Hayne appeared in a prison-issued green tracksuit.

    The 36-year-old could still face what would be his fourth trial concerning the incident - if prosecutors elect to go forward with it.
