A third man's been charged with murder, in relation to the death of South Canterbury man, Anaru Moana

A third man's been charged with murder, in relation to the death of South Canterbury man, Anaru Moana

Police say the 25-year-old was arrested at a Waimate address yesterday.

Moana went missing in December 2021, and is yet to be found.

In 2022, Police charged two other men with murder....they later pleaded not guilty.

Detective Senior Sergeant Nik Leigh says their investigation into Moana's death is ongoing.

He says people in the community know what happened - and they're urging them to come forward with information.
