An investigation is underway into the Police response to a violent incident at Manchester Airport

Footage has emerged of a police officer kicking and stamping on a man's head, and then striking another man.

Greater Manchester Police say they were called to break up a fight between members of the public, but officers were injured and were at risk of having their guns taken from them.

Three officers had to be hospitalised for injuries, including a female officer who suffered a broken nose.

Four people involved in the altercation have been arrested.
