Experts are disputing medical evidence used to convict UK nurse Lucy Letby

Experts are disputing medical evidence used to convict UK nurse Lucy Letby

A jury found the 35-year-old guilty of the murder or attempted murder of 14 babies - but a report's suggested the deaths could be from errors or natural causes.

Canterbury University professor, Geoff Chase, looked into claims Letby's poisoned two babies.

He says the babies' high insulin levels could be explained simply by their being in critical care - and it only seemed suspicious, after a cluster of deaths in the unit.

Chase says they checked who was on duty at the time and went through the records to see if anyone else was harmed.
