A man has appeared in court charged with abducting a 3-year-old girl from a Rotorua early childhood centre for sex in early March

24 April 2025

The 19-year-old accused, John Tekuru, has not entered a plea.

Details around the childhood centre are suppressed to protect the child's identity.
