    A coroner will today begin looking into the murder of a Christchurch woman, killed by her neighbour


    Joseph Brider was jailed for life, after violating and murdering Juliana Herrera at her Addington flat in January 2022.

    The convicted rapist had been released on parole just 72 days earlier.

    A Coronial inquest - starting today - will look at the killer's release and management in the community - with hopes to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
