Unlawful hunters in Wairarapa are in the Police gaze

Unlawful hunters in Wairarapa are in the Police gaze

A number have been charged with illegal poaching, and unlicensed firearms seized from several men - mainly around Masterton.

Police are reminding people not to shoot from vehicles, or target deer on private land - and to get permission to hunt.

During their recent crackdown, Police also arrested and charged a man with kidnapping and indecent assault, and another for growing cannabis.
