A New Zealand psychologist working in the US has been charged with sharing child sex material - after an undercover sting

Jeremy Brian Tacon was arrested in December alongside a Detroit doctor and lawyer - under a national FBI crackdown.

The Kiwi-born 51-year-old moved to the States a decade ago - and now faces the possibility of a long prison sentence.

Court documents suggest Tacon was identified after another man was fooled by an undercover agent, and his phone was seized.

Tacon allegedly received 12 videos of child sexual abuse material from the man.
